  • Contents

    First year (2017): Analysis of the interaction of human and organizational factors in SRA

    Second year (2018): Development of HRA methodology for the internal SRA in the full power condition and its application

    Third year (2019): Development of HRA methodology for the external SRA in the full power condition and its application

    Fourth year (2020): Development of HRA methodology for the SRA in the low power and shutdown condition and its application

    Fifth year (2021): Development of HRA guideline for SRA and suggestion of improvements for the severe accident management

  • 1. Update of human error probabilities for the single unit PSA

    Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) for the single unit PSA

    Dependency analysis for evaluating the relationships between operator actions

  • 2. Development of SRA HRA methodology for the internal SRA at the full power condition

    Evaluation of applicability of existing HRA methods to the multi-unit task types.

    Suggestion of how to treat human and organizational factors for HRA methods

  • 3. Identification of human induced initiators affecting multi-unit at the full power condition

    Development of a process to analyze human-induced initiating events

    Identification of scenarios for human-induced multi-unit LOOP and quantification of its frequency

  • 4. Literature survey on HRA methods for seismic events

    Literature review on the methods for seismic HRA

Expected Contributions

  • Improving the credibility of site risk analysis by developing an evaluation method for human and organization factors in HRAs

    Improving the safety of nuclear power plants by identifying vulnerabilities in the human and organizational aspects for the severe accident management.
